Splish Splash

Levi really enjoys his bath time and his first time in a pool. I'm glad because I've never really been a good swimmer, in fact JB loves to make fun of my swimming skills or lack there of, so I really want Levi to learn at an early age. Only 7 more weeks of school left and then I will have more time to take Levi to the pool on a regular basis.

A Walk to Remember

The great thing about living in Costa Rica is being able to go to the beach whenever we want. However, JB and I realized the other day that we really don't go as much as we should. We don't plan on living here forever, so we need to take advantage of it while we can. Don't worry, we have decided to make more of an effort to go, especially since Levi is old enough now, so it's not too hot for him to be outside. The last time we went, I decided to have Levi touch the ocean water for the first time. 

It was a beautiful afternoon, with an amazing sunset, and the water was calm. It was low tide, so I picked up my monkey and we had a nice walk to the water. Then I paused, and let Levi take in the remarkable gift God created for us. Every time I see the ocean, I think of how incredible it is and how lucky I am to experience it so often. After a few minutes of enjoying the scene around us, I bent over and dangled his little toes in the water. He was brave and didn't get upset, not even by how cold it was. I let him enjoy the water for a few moments and then it was time to head back to relax in our lounge chairs and watch the sun fade away until tomorrow.

I will never forget this moment I shared with Levi. I think what made it so special was the meeting of one innocent being to another. It definitely was a walk to remember.

The Donald is back...

Levi and I are finally back to blogging! Levi is bringing sexy back this time with his Donald Trump hairdo. I have already cut his hair twice and attempted it again today. He's only 5 1/2 months old! I am going to have to learn how to cut boys hair with how fast his hair grows, or go into debt paying for haircuts. My mission today is to find a video on You Tube on how to cut boys hair. Wish me luck!

Visitors

We have had a few visitors this past month. Therefore, we have gone out quite a bit, which means Levi's schedule has been irregular. He has been such a good boy though. I think he enjoys getting out and seeing the world. He always gets so excited whenever we put him in his car seat. Unfortunately, I only have one picture of him from these past few weeks....I know, I'm a terrible mom ;) 

And to make matters worse, I spilled some water on my laptop. I'm sending it to San Jose this week to be looked at and figure out if it can be fixed. Bummer. 

Anyway, I apologize for the very few posts this month and with my computer heading to get worked on, the posts will be even fewer.

March will be a busy month with visitors, so I promise to take many pics and share some great stories.

Such a Big Boy...

While Daddy was away at the PGA show, Levi and Mommy put together his highchair....and he loves it! 

He likes to chill in it...

He likes to eat cereal in it...

And he loves to play in it...
 

I can't believe he is already in a highchair! He's getting so big and loving every minute of it. I love my big boy!
